Hosiery A guide and what it all means!
Hosiery comes in all shapes and forms, and here I will try to explain the main differences. Hosiery basically encompasses everything that we wear on our legs, socks, etc. We have many different words for these items, i.e. pantyhose etc. We will go into this in more detail below.
Ankle socks
Ankle socks are small socks of ankle height that is commonly worn with shoes; they can come in plain or coloured. Some can come in lace trim or frilly lace trim.
Knee High Socks
Knee high socks are plain or coloured and they rise to a height of the knee, unlike ankle socks they tend to be plain socks without and lace trim. However they can come in many different patterns depending on the mood of the wearer.
Above the knee socks
In recent years a new fashion trend has been seen in fashion hosiery these are what is commonly referred to as above the knee socks. These can be plain or again with many different patterns depending on the mood of the wearer, and can be viewed as sexy or quite slutty by |

Unless youve come directly from a life of solitude and had an arranged wedding last month, you probably already realized that women appreciate getting presents. Unlike all guys, who like utilitarian tools, many wives will be particularly annoyed if you give them washing machines, even if it does make their life much simpler. For women, gifts should be romantic and sentimental. It should enhance their perception of themselves. It should not be something that is related to office work. In their mind, that kills the meaing. Many wives agree that the best presents are those that are given without a purpose. Just because you missed them. Not because they have an event like a birthday or a some special occasion. On those days a gift is mandatory and thus it lowers some of its value. The most memorable occasions will be those where you bought them an inexpensive, or worthless gift because you thought of them, or missed them and you wanted to mark some special occasion (that may not really exist) like a first date anniversary, or the first time you danced. Something that has emotional value will be appreciated and much more |
